Welcome to 1st4Training - Soft Skills & WorldHost™ Programme

2012 has so far been a busy year with a number of new contracts being secured for the delivery of high quality training and specialist event management at the Royal Welsh Show and National Eisteddfod here in Wales. Having successfully increased the number and quality of services we are able to offer our customers the hard work of 2011 has been well worth the effort. We have been successful in registering and having a number of delegates complete their first ever educational qualification in their chosen subject area of Hospitality, Leisure and Tourism. Being an Edexcel Centre allows 1st4Training to accredit the BTEC Level 2 Award in Principles of Customer Service directly for our customers, providing their staff with a recognised qualification that enhances the customer quality experience, staff personal development and business commitments to programmes such as Investor's in People and ISO's.

1st4Training are supporting their staff who have secured volunteer positions at the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012 by offering 'time-off' to volunteer to help in the delivery of a successful experience for the competitors, the officials and the visitor's attending the 2012 Olympics & Paralympics here in the United Kingdom.

We are one of only a handful of companies delivering the WorldHost programme in preparation for the 2012 Olympics & Paralympics in London. In the past 12 months 1st4Training has delivered the WorldHost Principles of Customer Service to private businesses in the hospitality sector across the UK and to skills sector partners in Wales. The WorldHost programme workshops are:

  • Service Across Cultures
  • Ambassador
  • Customers with Disabilities

Working Links supports the WorldHost Programme recognising the skills and knowledge delivered during the WorldHost programme and the opportunities that are created for their clients to develop communication skills. 1st4Training deliver customer service workshops that are designed to address your specific business and staff needs, all businesses are unique and we treat you as such.

Our clients include; St Brides Spa Hotel, CyMAL, Countryside Council for Wales, Working Links, Visit Wales, National Waterfront Museum Swansea, UWIC Gregynog Hall, Wrexham Heritage Service, private businesses, voluntary organisations, social enterprises, local and central government and community groups.
